GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE BOOKING
Reserve guarantee:
Although we ask for your credit card details, you will pay for your stay upon arrival at the hotel, with the exception of hotels where prepayment is requested (see Payment & Pricing section) and those offering non-refundable rates, where the total amount of your stay will be charged to the card provided at the time of booking. Your credit card will be stored securely and confidentially as additional security. In the event that the credit card is invalid, Gran Hotel Costa del Sol will request a new card from the client and reserves the right to cancel your reservation if no response is received within 48 hours. Keep the confirmation voucher until your arrival at the hotel and show it at the reception desk. (If you do not present the voucher at the reception desk, the hotel will not be responsible for any error related to the reservation, whether it is the rate, number of people and/or services contracted). Your reservation will remain firm until 18:00h on the day of arrival. If you plan to arrive later, please inform the hotel by telephone. The hotel will try to fulfill as much as possible the special wishes of the guests, according to availability and possibilities.
Payment and pricing:
Payment must be made directly at the hotel and in the hotel’s local currency, otherwise the hotel may apply the corresponding commission for currency exchange services. Finally, hotels offering non-refundable rates will charge the total amount of the stay to the card provided at the time of booking. By confirming the legal conditions the client accepts that the amount will be charged to his credit card and does not admit changes or cancellations. The non-refundable rate is not always combinable with other offers. Please consult when making your reservation.
The prices shown on granhotelcostadelsol.com are for the total stay and include direct taxes (VAT, ITBI, etc.) according to the country of destination. Possible local indirect taxes or airport taxes are not included. These prices may vary without prior notice, but the prices of reservations already made will always be maintained, except in the case of erroneous reservations caused by an error or interruption in the booking portal. Consequently, Gran Hotel Costa del Sol reserves the right to act on processed reservations.
Discount for residents of the Canary Islands:
When the company considers it appropriate, a discount will be offered to residents of the Canary Islands in certain hotels. To benefit from this discount, when making the reservation, the client must select the room called “room for Canary Island residents only” and show valid proof of residence (ID card, residence card, etc.) upon arrival at the hotel. In the case of not presenting it, the discount will not be applied and the normal room price will be charged without the resident discount.
Check-in and Check-out:
Rooms are available from 15:00 h in the afternoon (in the case of hotels in Lanzarote from 14:00 h) and check-out will be before 12:00 h at noon. These conditions may be changed upon request and upon payment of the agreed amount. This amount will be communicated via e-mail upon request.
Cancellations and modifications:
Reservations can only be cancelled by sending an email to recepcion@granhotelcostadelsol.com. You must provide your reservation code.
No credit card will be charged for reservations cancelled and modified up to 2 days prior to the day of arrival, except in high season which will be 7 days prior to the day of arrival, Christmas from 21.12. to 02.01. and Easter, as well as in the summer season (from 15.07 to 15.09 for hotels in Spain and from 03.01 to 31.03 for hotels in the Dominican Republic), which will also be 7 days prior to the day of arrival.
In the event that cancellations and modifications are made outside these deadlines, Gran Hotel Costa del Sol reserves the right to charge your credit card the amount of the first night for stays of less than 7 nights, for stays of more than 7 nights 25% of the total amount will be charged. The same will be done in case of no-show.
As well as in the case of booking a transfer, 25% of the amount of this service will be applied.
Exceptions for the following hotels:
The Gran Hotel Costa del Sol reserves the right to charge your credit card the amount of 3 nights for stays of less than 7 days, for longer stays 50% of the total amount will be charged: 1. In case of cancellations without a minimum of 7 nights prior to the date of arrival (minimum notice of 14 days for the periods from 01.07. to 15.09. from 21.12. to 02.01. and Easter). 2. In case of no-show, the full stay will be charged.
Responsibility:
Gran Hotel Costa del Sol is not responsible for and does not guarantee that access to this booking portal will be uninterrupted or error free. In no event shall Gran Hotel Costa del Sol be liable for any loss, damage or harm of any kind arising from the access and use of the reservation portal, except in the case of erroneous reservations produced by any error or interruption in the reservation portal. Consequently, Gran Hotel Costa del Sol reserves the right to act on processed reservations.
Privacy policy:
We inform the user that once registered, has at all times the right to access the file where your data are, and may exercise their rights of rectification, cancellation and opposition contained in Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data. As well as the revocation of consent for the transfer and processing of personal data.
